Rules for entry & access to the pool




Article 1

Any person or group entering the pool area must unreservedly abide by the present rules and regulations, as well as any extensions or references in the form of posters or pictograms located within the pool area. All persons or groups are required to comply with the instructions and directives of the pool owners.
The present rules will be posted in a visible and permanent manner.


Article 2
Access to the swimming pool is authorized to all persons who have paid their rent in one of the apartments of "l'Océan des Landes" and hold a rental contract. Owners may, however, be present at the same times as tenants. Time slots are reserved for them.
The swimming pool is open to the public according to the schedule posted at the entrance.


Article 3
Unless otherwise authorized by the owners, no one may have access to the swimming pool unless he/she is a tenant of one of the "Océan des Landes" apartments.


Article 4
The owners may at any time, for technical or force majeure reasons, order the temporary or permanent closure of the pool, without anyone being able to claim compensation or damages.


Article 5
Access to the pool enclosure is forbidden to :
- animals,
- persons in a state of intoxication or abnormal agitation,
- persons under the influence of psychotropic substances,
- persons suffering from or suspected of having contagious diseases (Ministry of Public Health circular dated March 13, 1975)
- persons in a state of obvious uncleanliness,
- children under 12 not accompanied by an adult able to supervise them.

Behavior in the pool




Article 6
Smoking is not permitted in the pool area.


Article 7
It is forbidden to consume food or drink in the pool area.


Article 9
It is forbidden to wear shoes (except flip-flops exclusively intended for use in the pool) in the "barefoot" area between the gate and the pool deck.


Article 10
Access to the pool is not permitted :
- persons with known skin conditions or lesions,
- anyone not wearing a clean, conventional swimsuit, compatible with morality
and exclusively reserved for bathing. G-strings forbidden, boxer shorts and briefs authorized,
- anyone failing to comply with the shower and footbath regulations


Article 11
It is forbidden to
- to annoy other bathers by actions or attitudes that are not in keeping with respect for others
respect for others or good sportsmanship,
- soiling or damaging the facilities by writing, drawing, smearing,
notches, blows or other means,
- play games in or around the pool that are dangerous or likely to inconvenience
likely to inconvenience third parties,
- running on the beach, rushing bathers into the water, shouting or snorkelling, or
freediving,
- diving without first ensuring that there is no danger to persons in the pool,
- diving in shallow water,
- use or apply any products that could contaminate the water in the pools.

Article 12
Persons who are unable to swim are asked to refrain from using the pool in areas where they have no access. Persons suffering from health problems, particularly heart disease, are requested not to use the pool alone.


Article 13
Emergency equipment can save a life.
Except in cases of force majeure, the use of rescue, first-aid and fire-fighting equipment is reserved for authorized persons only.

Damage, theft, damage, loss, etc




Article 14
The owners decline all responsibility for accidents caused by users, who will be entirely liable for damage to third parties, equipment and premises.


Article 15
The owners cannot, under any circumstances, be held responsible for loss, theft, disappearance or damage to objects or clothing.


Article 16
Any person who does not respect the present rules or who causes damage may, in addition to compensation for the damage caused, be expelled immediately and be subject to legal proceedings.


Article 17
Without prejudice to the possibility of legal action, the owners will decide what action to take in any case not covered by these rules. Complaints or suggestions may be sent to them by e-mail or post.


Article 18
In the event of a serious dispute, the courts of DAX shall have sole jurisdiction.
